Come on over to the Nature Center Gift Shop at Shawnee Prairie Preserve to supply your nature nut with all of the necessary equipment for a summer full of outdoor exploration! The Friends of the Darke County Parks gift shop is fully stocked with everything from beginning birdwatcher guides to adorable creature themed magnifying glasses.
Also for those little ones inclined to catch and keep every critter they find this summer, we have Insect Lore's Pop up Port a Bug, really handy insect catchers and bug viewers. Not so enthused about the creepy crawlers, how about a dazzling butterfly kite or a star-finder guide? Start a rock collection, make a paper flower and learn to weave, all while supporting the mission of Darke County Parks.
The Gift Shop is located at Darke County Parks' Shawnee Prairie Preserve Nature Center at 4267 State Route 502, Greenville, OH. The Nature Center hours are Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm.
