ACES Students Volunteer on Earth Day

On Earth Day twenty five students from the Achievement Center for Educational Success (ACES) volunteered their time in the Greenville area to CLEAN UP. One group cleaned out all the flower beds in downtown Greenville in order to have them ready of the community planting day, and then cleaned around the United Way and Council on Rural Services buildings. A second group worked at the Kids Learning Place building by cleaning and mulching flower beds and then did general cleaning inside and around the building. Youth Advocate Tracy Wheeler said, “They did a great job and learned about the satisfaction of giving back to their community.”
