State Senator Keith Faber (R-12) will be the featured speaker at the Darke County Republican Men’s Club Saturday, June 18.
He holds the Number 2 leadership role in the Senate as its President Pro Tempore, and has been a proponent of fiscal responsibility throughout his career in Columbus. He was a member of the House of Representatives, Dist. 77, before being elected to the Senate.
Faber’s most recent appearance in Greenville was with State Rep. Jim Buchy (R-77) for a Townhall meeting on the controversial SB5, which is currently the object of a petition for repeal in November.
Ohio’s 12th Senate District includes Allen, Champaign, Mercer, Preble, Shelby and parts of Auglaize and Darke counties. Faber plays a leadership role on a wide variety of issues by virtue of his committee assignments, which not only keep him busy when in Columbus, but give him a seat at the table when many policies that directly impact the lives of his constituents are developed.
The Darke County Republican Men’s Club meets the third Saturday of every month at 8 a.m. in the Brethren Home Retirement Community’s Staff Dining Room. A buffet breakfast is included for $6.
The club is currently on a membership drive and welcomes new members interested in the Darke County community and promoting Republican leadership. Meetings are open to the public.
