Basically, you can vote "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on any individual comment. A running total is displayed of people who like and dislike each comment. Each person can vote once per comment. In addition, a menu is available to see the most voted on comments, as well as the most liked comments.
Try it out. Leave a comment on this thread, or view any of the comments on any other thread and vote. It's another way to interact with us, even if you don't have anything in particular to comment on regarding a story.
