Darke County Parks Cultural History Summer Camp

Have you ever wondered how the pioneer children lived in the 18th Century? Come on out and join the Cultural History Summer Camp held on Monday, July 11 thru Friday, July 15 from 9:30AM- 12:00 (noon) for your 6 to 9 year olds. During this camp you will have hands on experience with several skills for the very first time in your life! Skills such as dying textiles with natural dyes, trying your hands at weaving a rug on the Park’s loom, and exploring the ins and outs with blacksmithing and much more! Along with these skills we will also be cooking our daily snacks over the hearth, completing our chores, and playing with some pioneer games and toys!

If you are interested in attending registration is required and there is a fee of $65.00. To register or for additional information, please contact Darke County Parks at 937-548-0165 or info@darkecountyparks.org by July 8th.

Hope to see you at Camp!
