On Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at approximately 6:45 p.m. the Greenville Police Department responded to the Star Dust Motel at 5436 State Route 49 S on a drug complaint. After a brief investigation, the Darke County Drug Task Force was contacted to assist. A search warrant was obtained for room #111. While executing the search warrant, Detectives and Officers located narcotics and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested 36 year-old Christopher M. Portemont of Greenville. He was charged and taken to the Darke County Jail. Felony charges are pending.
