GCBL Now Accepting Applications for Fall League

The Greenville Citizens Baseball League is now accepting applications for players. The league will run from Friday September 2nd to Wednesday October 5th (1-2 weeknights) with a tournament being held over October 8th-9th (weekend) to end the league. All players will receive shirt/hat/socks and participation award. Cost of league is $50, make checks payable to GCBL and mail to 108 Shawnee St., Greenville OH 45331.   2. For a uniform and a month's worth of games plus a tournament?

    It's certainly not free, but it's certainly not unreasonable.

  3. I don't know, it isn't "unreasonable", but then again to play the whole spring/summer season is around $75, so I think that $50 for 1 month is a little bit steep.
    I believe that the girls fall softball league does it for somewhere around $30 for the same type thing. That's a bit better for a month's worth of ball.

  4. Did the girls fall league once....what a joke and total waste of time. Definitely would not recommend that one!

  5. Girls fall ball is double headers every weekend for 4 or 5 weeks. Cost is $40. Great way to keep a kid active during off season when they are too young for other sports! My husband and I love fall ball!
