Have you ever thought about cooking with the sun? Chef Jeff of Eaterie Food will be joining Inspiramental Co., local provider and installer of solar energy systems such as photovoltaic, solar thermal water heating, and passive natural daylight at the 155th Great Darke County Fair to show you how. The Chef will be performing a solar oven cooking demo Friday, Aug. 19th at 6:00 PM and Tuesday, August 23rd at 6:00 PM.
Join us on implement row for whole wheat bread on Friday and a Baby Beet and Arugula Salad on Tuesday- all cooked in one of Inspiramental’s solar ovens!
Be sure to check out the great line of Solar Electric Panels and Solar Water heaters on display. Bear's Mill will be providing freshly ground, whole wheat flour for the delicious bread. Beets and Greens will be provided by The Roving Radish Free Range Vegetable Ranch, a regular fixture at The Downtown Greenville Farmers Market. Stop by and try them!
