Don Wentworth has been a driver for the Greenville Transit System since 2004. After several years with GTS, Don has decided to retire and take life a little easier. August 19, 2011 will be Don’s last day as a driver. Don’s position as a GTS Driver involved loading and unloading of mobility devices and transportation of people needing services to doctor appointments, work, shopping or just for visiting family or friends. Although the work as a Para Transit Driver was sometimes strenuous and hard work, we are sure that Don found it rewarding and a much needed service to the community. Don will be missed (but not forgotten). At the Tuesday Safety Meeting, Don was given a photo album with pictures of all his fun co-workers and several gift cards to enjoy after retirement. Good luck Don in your new life of leisure!
