Miami County Sheriff's Office Seeks Help in Home Invasion Investigation

The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the assistance of the public with respect to a home invasion burglary occurring in the Village of Bradford on June 23, 2011.

An unknown white male armed with a handgun entered a residence through an unlocked window and confronted the homeowner. The male was described physically as being in his twenties to thirties in age, medium to stocky build, having dark curly hair, and blue eyes. The male was also wearing blue jeans, a long sleeved Ohio State shirt, and a baseball style hat.

A composite drawing was rendered based on the victim’s observations which are being presented to the public in an effort to seek identification.

Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity to 911, leave on outside lighting, and lock doors and windows.
