The Breast Cancer Awareness 5k committee is proud to announce that we will continue the Triathlon that was started by the Darke County YMCA. The event will be held on August 20 at 8:00 AM at the Greenville City Pool. Participants can choose from a swim/bike/run or a run/bike/run. Relays are also offered. The event is for all ages including a youth division.
This is a great opportunity for first time triathletes because we offer a pool swim and the same positive, athlete friendly atmosphere as the BCA 5k. Everyone is encouraged to participate. If you would like some basic training, the committee is providing Triathlon Training 101 in a series of four lessons starting on August 9.
