Scheduling an appointment at a Darke County blood drive online is easy at www.donortime.com OR contact Dana Puterbaugh, Darke County Account Representative at 937-997-2199 or dputerbaugh@cbccts.org to schedule your appointment.
Please remember that appointments have priority and walk in donors are always welcome as the schedule permits. This simply means if a donor walks in and all appointments are filled at the time, blood center staff will let the donor know when the next available appointment is and offer the choice to wait or come back at a time that is available.
Please always allow 45 minutes to 1 hour to get through the entire process, even with an appointment.
Photo ID with full name required for registration when donating at any blood drive.
Blood Donation: Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically. Individuals with eligibility questions are invited to email canidonate@cbccts.org or call 1(800)388-GIVE. Make an appointment at www.DonorTime.com.

I wanted to take this opportunity to simply request to all those that may be willing to perhaps take a few moments by offering their prayers & support & to inform others who are not yet aware,of a couple of GREAT folks in our community that have been undergoing serious & complicated ongoing health issues which could use our care and support, letting them know others DO CARE in our community about friends & neighbors whom are in need! I know they would sincerely appreciate hearing from ANYONE reminding them of the real type of community we are here in Darke County.
ReplyDeleteGreg Eubank, a graduate of GHS, class of 1980, has been battling serious health issues for several years and his mother who he is now the caregiver of, Carolyn Eubank, is once again back in the hospital struggling and continues to undergo chemo and radiation treatments having been diagnosied with several types of cancer.
I am requesting that anyone in our community that is able to show some kind words of love, prayers, support, kindness & compassion to these fine folks who despartely need it, to open your hearts by sending CARDS/letters of LOVE & SUPPORT to the following addresses, letting them know others out their still do in fact care within our community!
SEND CARDS & GET WELL MESSAGES if you could & would to: Greg Eubank, 6520 Daly Road, Greenville, Ohio 45331 and/or to his mother at: Carolyn Eubank,Room #6524 c/o GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL,Dayton, Ohio 45406-1891
Sometimes the smallest of gestures can make the biggest differeence in helping to lift up someone in need and to brighten their spirits helping them make it through another difficult painful dark day! I thank you in advance for your kindness and for spreading the word to help these fine folks who so richly deserve some good positive prayers and well wishes during this difficult journey!
Perhaps the above post from Mr. Foutz could be put on the front page? Looks like something that should have been e-mailed to DJ instead of posted as a comment to another thread. Hopefully more people will see it & offer their support to these folks.
