BIG THANK YOU TO GREENVILLE FOR BOOSTING CBC

BOB EVANS FUNDRAISER SUPPORTS DARKE COUNTY DONORS

GREENVILLE, Ohio – It turned out to be a great weekend in Greenville to enjoy a meal at the Bob Evans Restaurant on Wagner Avenue, and at the same time throw support to the Community Blood Center (CBC) program in Darke County.

It was all thanks to the Community Fundraiser weekend at Bob Evans. All donors and supporters had to do was have a meal anytime Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 27-29, hand over the Community Fundraiser flyer at checkout, and Bob Evans donated 15 percent of the sale to CBC.

As a result of the fundraiser CBC will receive a check for $276.00. All the money will stay in Darke County to support the volunteer blood donor program.
“A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Greenville Bob Evans Community Fundraiser,” says CBC Darke Co. Rep. Dana Puterbaugh.

“Just a thought,” Dana says, “But if the average meal at Bob Evan's is about $10.00 it would have taken a little more than $1,800.00 in sales for us to get the $276.00, which means about 180 participants? Not sure how accurate that is, but WOW I think that is good!”

That is good! Good food, good cause and good job by donors and all supporters of CBC in Darke County!
