This quarter’s featured rider is Geraldine Hodge. Geraldine (shown here with GTS Driver, Buzz Lines), has lived in Greenville since 1975. When asked why Geraldine rides the transit she said that she is divorced and has never driven. She has worked at McDonalds for 32 years and has used the transit to get to and from work for many of those years. Geraldine’s hobbies include collecting key chains, logo buttons, beany baby collectibles (especially anything ocean related). Her favorite TV shows include Steve Wilko, Hawaii Five O, and Americas Most Wanted. Besides McDonalds, Geraldine loves the Asian Buffet. Geraldine is a volunteer at Rest Haven Nursing Home and a “Bus Mom” monitor for the Greenville Baptist Temple. Geraldine plays harmonica and is thankful for the drivers and the Greenville Transit System to get her where she needs to go.
