Greenville FFA Host Blood Drive

Greenville FFA Chapter hosted a blood drive on February 23rd at Greenville High School. There were 73 individuals who signed up for this blood drive with 62 pints of blood being collected. That amound will help over 186 individuals who are in need of blood.

This blood drive was held in conjunction with National FFA Week activities. The next time students will be able to donate at Greenville High School will be in May at a blood drive sponsored by the Medical Tech program.

Members of the program participate in at least one community service project during each nine weeks of the school year. During the course of the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in several community service projects including Food for Needy at Christmas, Toys for Tykes and Teens, March for Babies, Adopt a Highway, Operation Christmas Child, Adopt a Family, Pet Food Drive, and others.
