Big Brothers Big Sisters is teaming up with Nick Lachey and the Cincinnati Reds

Saturday, April 28 2012, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County, along with other Ohio BBBS agencies, will be celebrating “Big Brothers Big Sister Day with the Reds”. The game, where the Cincinnati Reds take on the Houston Astros, will be hosted at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. Game time begins at 4:10 with doors opening at 2:40 to kick off several fun filled festivities including a guest appearance from Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees!!

The Reds have several other exciting items lined up for the day. The first 20,000 fans will receive a Reds Fleece Blanket courtesy of Duke Energy. There will be booths featuring all the great things that our organization does for the communities that we have serve. The Reds also have some surprise activities that will involve our Bigs and Littles joining the players on the ball field.

Discounted tickets are available for this event. The community may go online and buy tickets at www.reds.com/BBBS, then enter Password: BBBS. One great thing that the Reds officials are doing for this day is donating a portion of each discounted ticket to our local organization.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County is a non-profit United Way member, social service agency. Lisa Brown is Executive Director of the agency.
