Buckeye Sports Bulletin Editor Frank Moskowitz will speak at OSU Alumni Club Spring Gala

(Greenville) - The Ohio State Alumni Club of Darke County will be hosting their Annual Spring Gala on Tuesday, May 1st at 7PM. The event will take place at the Little Italian CafĂ© which is located at 180 E. Third Street in Greenville and is open to club members, alumni and Buckeye fans. The cost is only $5.00 per person and meals will be “ala carte.” Our program will include a review of the past year, upcoming events, a silent auction, the announcement and awarding of this year’s scholarship recipients and a special guest speaker.

We are excited to have Frank Moskowitz, founder and publisher of the Buckeye Sports Bulletin Editor as our special guest speaker for the event. The Buckeye Sports Bulletin is a newspaper devoted to Ohio State University sports. In its 30th year of publication, the Buckeye Sports Bulletin has a circulation of over 30,000 with subscribers in all 50 states and several foreign countries. The Washington, D.C., native is also the publisher of Reds Report, devoted to the Cincinnati Reds. Moskowitz, 58, received his M.A. in English from Ohio State in 1981.He is also a graduate of Michigan State University, receiving his B.A. in English. Before founding Buckeye Sports Bulletin, he was sports editor of The Madison Press in London, Ohio, worked for The Columbus Dispatch and was associate editor of The Buckeye Leaves.

Some of the feature items for our silent auction include a wine box from Readmore’s Hallmark, a gift basket from Granny’s Corner, spending a football Saturday with the OSU Marching Band, and many more. The event is sure to be an entertaining evening of Buckeye cheer and camaraderie and is open to any Buckeye alumni and/or fans.
