Come for an evening of incredible music and ice cream on Sunday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the EUM Worship Center located at 1451 Sater Street in Greenville, Ohio. We will be celebrating past mission teams and hear some of the member’s experiences in the mission field.
EUM Church has been sending mission teams to Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, Florida for the past five years where they serve families with children that are terminally ill or facing life-threatening illness.
Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all those special children and their families from around the world, and rely solely on volunteers and donations to operate. Over 115,000 children have had their dreams come true, no child in need has ever been turned away. Give Kids the World is a place where families find joy, laughter, serenity, and a lifetime of memories.
We will also have a very special guest speaker, Yasmina Garcia, who has been on staff at Potters House in Guatemala for 19 years. She will be speaking on the impact our many mission teams have made at Potters House, and the many lives that have been affected by our service. She will also be speaking about the child sponsorship program.
Potters House is located on the edge of the Guatemala City garbage dump where more than 11,000 people live and work in or near the dump.
An ice cream social fundraiser will conclude the evening and will consist of activities for the kids. All proceeds will go directly to Give Kids the World. (Ice cream donated by the Coffee Pot)
Invite your friends and families and plan now to attend!
