On Friday April 13, 2012 at approximately 5:00 pm, the Greenville Police Department and Darke County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Greenville Sunoco located at 841 Martin St.
The search warrant was a result of a lengthy, multi-jurisdictional investigation which included the Darke County Juvenile Court and the Ohio Investigative Unit. Other search warrants in Preble County were executed at the same time as a result of this collaborative effort.
32 year old Nageeb Abdo-Ahmed Murshed, Greenville Sunoco Manager, was arrested during the search warrant and charged with Corrupting a Minor with Schedule I Drugs, a Felony of the Second degree.
39 year old Kassam Obed, Greenville Sunoco Owner, was detained and turned over to West Alexandria Police.
During the search Warrant, officers recovered numerous units of synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash.
