Versailles Free and Accepted Masons Hand Out Awards


The Versailles Lodge No. 290 of Free and Accepted Masons held its annual Awards Night on March 15th recognizing several Mason’s on their outstanding accomplishments in our organization. Due to illness Kurt Weeks, Master of the Lodge was unable to attend. In his absences, W.B. Michael C. Snyder, Past Master of the Lodge served as Pro-tem.

Those Brothers recognized for 2012 were Br. Larry Miller, 40 year member; Br. Michael Brown, 35 year member: Paul Mayer, 35 year member. Those members unable to attend who were honored in abstencia were Clyde Thomas, 60 year member: David Holfinger, 50 year member, and Michael Burke, 25 year member.

Prior to the opening of Lodge, the District Depute Grand Master for the Great Third Masonic District of Ohio, the Right Worshipful Brother Phillip Stickle joined Past District Depute Grand Master, John J. Harman, W.B. Michael Snyder, B. Don Addis, W.B. Joe Taylor, and B. James Kelch, all members of the Versailles Lodge at the Versailles Health Care Center to honor Worshipful Brother William (Bill) Harman on the occasion of his 65th anniversary as a Mason. Members of the Harman family also joined in the celebration. W.B. Harman received his 65 year pin from Right Worshipful Brother, Phillip Stickle and his 2012 Grand Masters pin from his own brother, Right Worshipful Brother John J. Harman. A framed certificate and a beautiful red rose complimented the ceremony.

The Versailles Lodge congratulates W. B. Harman and all our 2012 honorees and wishes them many more happy years in Masonry!
