I spent the afternoon at Harmon field for the Darke County Special Olympics. My little brother, Jacob, was one of hundreds of athletes from all over the county who came to compete in various track and field events.
Jacob has competed in the event for several years and always beams with excitement when talking about it. He and hundreds of other kids in the county look forward to the event every year where they all get their turn learning about competition and sportsmanship.
