Letterboxing 101

Looking for an intriguing and fun activity... the entire family can enjoy? Join Darke County Parks Volunteer and Letterboxing enthusiast, Tina White, on Saturday, June 9th at 1:00pm at Shawnee Prairie Preserve as she introduces this exciting hobby. Letterboxing is a worldwide hobby much like a treasure hunt! Learn how to access clues online, how to follow the clues and what to do once you find the treasure! You will also learn how to create your own letterboxing kit and some stealthy hunting techniques. There will be several letterboxes hidden for the day throughout Shawnee Prairie Preserve as examples. This program is completely FREE but pre-registration is required.
