During the month of April, students from Franklin Monroe and Ansonia High School were given the challenge to find a way to give back to the community and they did just that by removing garlic mustard at Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Garlic Mustard is an invasive, non-native plant, which can be found along the roadside and woodland boarders. After the students were done removing garlic mustard, they were surprised how much better the area appeared. Thank you students! All of your hard work is greatly appreciated by the Park District and the citizens in Darke County.
