“We know student health has a direct impact on a child’s ability to learn and succeed,” said Amy Schultz Clubbs, president of Molina Healthcare of Ohio. “Programs like CATCH® Kids Club are helping young people across Ohio make healthy choices. We’re thrilled to be able to support important programs like this and others offered by the YMCA of Darke County.”
The grant is part of Molina’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities within its service area. Through both the company’s Volunteer Time Off program that encourages employees to donate their time to charitable organizations and through financial support, Molina Healthcare has made a significant impact on agencies across Ohio.
“Like Molina Healthcare, the YMCA of Darke County is committed to meeting the social service needs of our community,” said Gail Hostuttler, executive director and CEO. “With their support, our summer camp program will have the resources it needs to provide an active, fun, and healthy environment for kids.”
Molina Healthcare of Ohio is based in Columbus, Ohio and currently employs 402 Ohioans. The company has earned a “Commendable” rating and accreditation status from the National Committee for Quality Assurance and is a 2012 recipient of the Columbus Business First Corporate Caring Award.
