Pets of the Week


We have Bailey at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 4-year-old Mastiff. He is brindle with short hair. He is a big guy and very friendly. He weighs around 100 pounds. He will make a great buddy and is ready to be adopted.

We have Cloyie at the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is a 6-month-old Schnauzer/Min Pin mix. She is blond with long hair. She is a little sweetheart and only weighs around 10 pounds. She will make a great housedog and longtime companion. She is ready to be adopted.

We have Ringo at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix. He is black and white with short hair. He is a friendly young guy and very playful. He will make a companion and lifelong buddy. He is ready to be adopted.

We also have a collie mix, a Lab mix puppy, a couple of terrier mixes and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens for adoption.

The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645. The Darke County Dog Park is getting closer to becoming a reality. The Darke County Friends of the Shelter are accepting donation to help with the funding for the Park. They can be made at the AnimalShelter and are greatly appreciated.
