Richard was a very committed and dedicated blood donor who donated 428 lifesaving blood products. He served on the Darke County Advisory Group for over 12 years, and volunteered at many CBC Darke County events. Richard was a strong advocate for the importance of the volunteer blood donor program.
The goal of the awards is to recognize those who exceed expectations as an advocate for blood donations within Darke County and Union City blood drives.
