America – A Christian Nation?

Every July 4th, we the people of the United States of America celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776, declaring our Independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. This year will be no exception. So many years removed from the conflict that initiated the Colonies revolution against the English Empire many of the facts have been lost, forgotten, or rewritten.

Recently our Commander in Chief made comments bringing into question whether or not America is a Christian Nation. Is the man who holds the highest office in the land right, or wrong? Is he confused, or are we? Has he forgotten the facts, or has something changed? Have his comments been misrepresented, or does he possibly know or understand facts we do not have access to?

Join the Family of LWM Community Church at 102 W. Main Street in Versailles Sunday morning July 1st as we investigate the President’s claim, in preparation for this year’s celebration. At both the 8:30 and 10:30 meetings we will review the facts of history and reveal truths your history books did not teach you about God’s plan and purpose for America.

Jesus, speaking to the chief priests and Pharisees said, “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.” – Mt. 21:43
