Darke County Parks is excited to be the recipient of the Boating Safety Education Grant from the Ohio Division of Watercraft. Through this grant, we are able to expand our kayaking programs to facilitate more paddlers at one time! Join us as we float down river on Saturday, June 16th at from 9:00am-12:00pm. This float will be relaxing and fun for the family. Along the way, we will explore the tree-lined banks of one of Darke County’s scenic waterways. Reserve a canoe for two or solo a kayak (kayakers must demonstrate proficiency or have completed kayak introduction). Space is limited! Call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165 to reserve your spot today. There is a fee of $10 per paddler. Be sure to bring sunscreen, water, sunglasses and “Dress for Wet.”
