See Spittin’ Image, Live and in person at the Annie Oakley Days Festival

Brian and Blain Swabb will be performing at the Annie Oakley Days Festival on Saturday, July 28, 8pm in the gazebo. They will be celebrating 40 years of playing professionally this July. The identical twins have had numerous experiences and wonderful opportunities, from opening for Margo Smith at the Darke County Fair when they were 15 years old, and having Faron Young at their nightclub (My Brother’s Place) and performing with him. They also have opened for David Allen Coe, Neil McCoy, and Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, among others. Spittin’ Image performs over 500 shows each year, and covers 8 different states in the process, and now they have added a tour of Florida performing for 2 months out of the year for the wonderful resort/theatre/vacation home communities there.

Join us on Saturday, July 28 at 8pm for a night with Spittin’ Image.

In addition to Spittin’ Image we have over 24 hours of great entertainment. We also have the Melodrama in the youth building, the Annie Oakley Western Arts Showcase in the Coliseum, Indian Creek Regulators, National Kiddie Tractor Pull, and the Shawnee Bandits fast draw.

New to the festival this year is the Little Miss and Mr. contest sponsored by Diane Evans Insurance at 7pm on Friday, and at 1pm on Saturday, the Annie Oakley car show sponsored by Doolittles Auto Service, Cornhole tournament sponsored by C & L Electric, Family Fun Games sponsored by Gunckle’s Tree Service, and all day on Sunday the new Darke County has Talent contest at the south entertainment tent.
