On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Tri-Village Rescue and the Members of “The Team for Life” we would like to congratulate Mrs. Mattina (Matti) Sowry of New Madison, Ohio for completing the PARAMEDIC course at Sinclair Community College. This course was 18 months of instruction and clinical rotation to prepare Matti to Challenge the National Registry of PARAMEDICS testing to which she passed.
Matti started running with Tri-Village Rescue in January of 2008 and completed her EMT class in June of 2008 while working as a volunteer EMT for Tri-Village Rescue Matti decided she wanted to do more and started the Paramedic program at Sinclair in January of 2011. Matti works full time at Wayne Healthcare in the emergency department while attending classes and doing clinical rotation.
Matti lives in New Madison, Ohio with her husband Rob and has 4 children Dale, Bailey, Chloe and stepson Jacob. Matti enjoys watching her children in all their sports activities and traveling. Matti is a graduate of Tri-village Schools.
Eric Burns, Paramedic and Chief of the department stated that “He is so proud of Matti she was able to hold down a full time job and raise her family and still make the Dean’s list at Sinclair every quarter shows the determination Matti has in becoming the best Paramedic she can be, as her preceptor and her boss I am so proud of her and look forward to seeing her grow as a Paramedic with our organization” Tri-Village Rescue Services. Once again congratulations Matti job well done.
