State of the Heart Receives Over $1,800 From Office Bar Benefit & Poker Run
State of the Heart Hospice recently received a check for $1,832 from the Office Bar Benefit and Poker Run held June 9 in the Greenville area. The event featured a poker run and afternoon and evening festivities at the Steam Threshers site. Music and food was on tap for the first ever event. Pictured here presenting the check is Deb Ross, representative for the fund raiser, and Ryan Gathard, Fund Development coordinator for State of the Heart Hospice. The non-profit agency, with offices in Greenville, Coldwater and Portland, cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.
