Darke County Nurses Education Council upcoming program “The Impact and Consequences of Sleep Deprivation” will be presented at Wayne Hospital third floor conference room September 13. Sign in/meal/registration starts at 4:30 p.m. with the program starting at 5:00 p.m. Two contact hours will be awarded. This program will explore the impact of sleep deprivation on society and potential ways to minimize the damage it can incur. The program will be presented by CYNTHIA LIETTE, MS, APRN, ACNS-BC, CCRN. Ms. Liette has been a practicing nurse and educator for more than 30 years. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health. She practices as a CNS at Mercer Health and has studied sleep deprivation extensively. She is also a consultant and presents seminars for various levels of health care professionals.
