Children’s Theatre Club will hold auditions for its upcoming production Children’s Letters to God. Auditions will be held on September 22nd from 10am to 4pm at Shawnee Prairie.
Children’s Letters to God is a touching and sometimes funny story that looks at life through the eyes of children. When this group of young people have questions they can’t answer… such as “Why did turtles die?” ”Why do my feet stink?” or “Why does this boy not like me?” They turn to the one person who can answer their questions. Dealing in such themes as Bullying, Divorce, and Sibling Relationships, this musical offers lots of parts for young people of all ages.
Children's Theatre Club is a non-profit organization that offers theatre experiences for area youth. The club is open to students in kindergarten thru 12th grade. Every member who auditions will be included on the stage, and every effort will be made to highlight and give a part to anyone who wants one. Members will also be given opportunities to participate in other areas of theatre that they may be interested in including directing, design, and script writing.
