Edison, UVCC cut ribbon on sidewalk connecting campuses

UVCC Superintendent Dr. Nancy Luce, students Maurice Ickes of Sidney, Cody Slomba of Bradford and Kristina Frey of Piqua, and Edison Community College President Dr. Cristobal Valdez cut the ribbon to open up a new paved walkway connecting the two campuses.
Edison Community College and Upper Valley Career Center faculty, staff members and students were on hand for a ceremonial ribbon cutting Wednesday, Sept. 12, to celebrate the completion of a paved sidewalk connecting the two campuses.

Edison President Dr. Cristobal Valdez and UVCC Superintendent Dr. Nancy Luce led the ceremony along with three post-secondary option (PSEOP) students from the UVCC.

The paved walkway will make it easier for students participating in the PSEO program to travel back and forth between the newly renovated UVCC and Edison’s campus.
