Fall Gardening Seminar

Now is the time to save for the future! The Olde Thyme Gardeners invite you to our annual fall workshop: "Saving for the Future: Seeds, Scents and Sustainability!". Come and enjoy the morning of Saturday, October 13 from 9 am to noon at the log house located at Shawnee Prairie, 4267 State Route 502, Greenville, Ohio 45331. Deb Borgia from Sycamore Bridge Farm in Versailles will speak on insects, growing organics and feeding the soil. Olde Thyme Gardener and former Master Gardener, Diana Anderson will discuss seed saving. Complete the morning with a hands-on activity learning how to take cuttings from scented geraniums. The fee for the morning activities is $10 (checks payable to the Olde Thyme Gardeners).

Space is limited to the first 15 paid participants, so be sure to register early! For more information or to register, please call Bethany DuPuy at 937-547-0877 or 937-417-8917. In addition, the Olde Thyme Gardeners would like to invite anyone interested in the gardening practices of the early 1800's to come to one of our meetings. Our fall meetings will be held on September 11, October 9 and November 13 at noon in the library at the Shawnee Prairie Nature Center. No special knowledge or training is required.
