High School Football Pick'em: Week 4 Winner and Week 5's Match Ups

Congratulations to Keith Heidrich for winning DarkeJournal.com's High School Football Pick 'em Challenge week 4!

The scoring this week was dramatically lower thanks to (seemingly) surprise victories for Covington and Greenville. The highest point total this week was only 20, down from 60 last week. Jerry Bey (a previous winner), Keith, and Brad Flora all accumulated 20 points, however it was Keith who had the closest total score prediction for the Greenville vs West Carrolton game. Keith will receive a free school t-shirt from Cavalier Clothing and 6 free wings from Tail Gators!

Now we prepare for week 5! With just a little over half of the season left, there are still plenty of chances to win the weekly prize, in addition to accumulating points towards the grand prize package.

As with last week, list your predicted winners and rate how confident you are on a scale of 1-10. This is not in relation to other picks, so each pick will have a number between 1-10 associated with it, and you may repeat confident ratings across multiple games. If you get the pick right, you will receive that many points (so if you're sure of your pick, rate it a 10). However, if you get that pick wrong, you will lose that many points (so if you have no idea who will win, you may want to rate it lower). The entry with the highest total score will win!

Also, make a guess for the total score of the games designated as tiebreaker 1 and tiebreaker 2. In the event of a tie, the guess that is the closest to the total combined score of that game will be the winner.

Email your picks and confidence ratings to darkejournal@gmail.com with the subject line of "Football Picks - Week 5" by 6pm on Friday to be eligible for prizes.

If you have questions on the format, feel free to send an email or leave a comment on this post.
