OSU ALUMNI CLUB “BUCKEYE BASH” FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD IN VERSAILLES SEPTEMBER 29TH

DARKE COUNTY, OH – The OSU Alumni Club of Darke County will hold a tailgate style fundraiser on Saturday, September 29th at McBo’s in Versailles for the Ohio State vs. Michigan State football game.

The event is open to everyone, including all fans, alumni and parents of students attending Ohio State.

“Even MSU fans are welcome as long as they purchase a raffle ticket,” joked Kate Kester, one of the event’s organizers. “It’s always fun to get together with local OSU fans to cheer on the team and bring that energy of being a Buckeye in Columbus right to Darke County.”

“We are proud to report that nearly 30 students from Darke County will be entering the freshman class at Ohio State this year,” said Bill Barga, OSU Alumni Club Board Member. “We thought it would be ideal to hold the event in Versailles this year because a majority of those students are from Versailles.”

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. McBo’s features bowling, putt-putt and an arcade for family fun. The event begins at 2:30 p.m., one hour before kick-off and ends approximately at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the OSU Alumni Club scholarship program that helps support tuition costs for Darke County students attending Ohio State.
