I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come and discuss county issues with me at my “Coffee with the Commissioners” gatherings this year. I really enjoy talking to everyone, and it is always interesting to find out what the public is thinking. One of my intentions when I took office was to bring local government back to the people, and to make it more accessible. By going out once a month and meeting all of you, I can become better acquainted with the needs and concerns of the people. My meetings with the public allow me to be a better Commissioner. I will continue to be accessible, and to be available for group meetings, outings, or any public function as a speaker, or just to answer questions.
Because we are going into the Holiday season, I will not have anymore “Coffee’s” until January. I wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season, and remind everyone to give thanks for all our blessings, and to remember the true meaning of Christmas. God Bless each of you, and I look forward to meeting you next year!!
