DJ Pick'em: Week 9 Winner and Week 10's Games

Todd Ellis was the winner of Week 9 of the DJ High School Football Pick 'em Contest. He wins a free school shirt from Cavalier Clothing (like them on Facebook!) and 6 free wings from Tail Gators (like them on Facebook!).

With one week left to play, you still have a chance to win the weekly prizes if you haven't won already this season.

The race for the overall season prizes of a free blue tooth headset from Prime Communications in Greenville and a $50 gas card courtesy of DarkeJournal.com is still close. Jerry Bey heads into the final week with a 14 point lead over John Johansen. With 6 games to pick this week, John still has a very reasonable shot to overcome the season long leader.

Haven’t won or even played yet? This is your last chance to win the weekly prizes, so be sure to enter!

This Week's Games
  • Greenville at Sidney (Tiebreaker 1)
  • Versailles at St Henry (Tiebreaker 2)
  • Arcanum at Covington
  • Ansonia at Tri-County North
  • Mississinawa Valley at Bethel
  • Bradford at Twin Valley South
Remember the rules: list your predicted winners and rate how confident you are on a scale of 1-10. This is not in relation to other picks, so each pick will have a number between 1-10 associated with it, and you may repeat confident ratings across multiple games. If you get the pick right, you will receive that many points (so if you're sure of your pick, rate it a 10). However, if you get that pick wrong, you will lose that many points (so if you have no idea who will win, you may want to rate it lower). The entry with the highest total score will win!

Also, make a guess for the total score of the games designated as tiebreaker 1 and tiebreaker 2. In the event of a tie, the guess that is the closest to the total combined score of that game will be the winner.

Email your picks and confidence ratings to darkejournal@gmail.com with the subject line of "Football Picks - Week 10" by 6pm on Friday to be eligible for prizes.

If you have questions on the format, feel free to send an email or leave a comment on this post.
