EUM CHURCH MISSIONS 1ST ANNUAL “BASKETS OF HOPE” AUCTION

EUM Church’s Destination Known Missions ministry is excited to incorporate the youth of the church in its first, youth-specific international mission trip. In late December, eleven high school students will travel with four adult chaperones/leaders to Guatemala. We will continue our partnership with Potter’s House to build a home for a very deserving family who lives in the inactive section of the Guatemala City dump. The team will also get the opportunity to serve these “Treasures” through prayer walks throughout the community.

This mission trip comes with a cost -- $1,475 per person. To help offset the expenses, our youth is holding their first annual “Baskets of Hope”, a basket auction of themed, community-business sponsored items on which church family, friends and neighbors may bid. Proceeds will directly benefit each person’s cost of the trip and the mission expenses in Guatemala. The auction will be held October 14, 2012 at 6:00 pm at the EUM Worship Center located at 1451 Sater Street in Greenville. Everyone is welcome!

Destination Known is a ministry of EUM Church. Our worship services are Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 a.m. at our Worship Center located at 1451 Sater Street (corner of Sater and Sebring-Warner Road) in Greenville, OH. The Downtown Campus, 111 Devor Street, houses our offices and preschool. For more information, go to www.eumchurch.org or call 548-3211.
