Fort GreeneVille Chapter along with VFW Post 7262 Ladies Auxiliary hosted Operation Bundle of Joy public baby shower. Approx. 236 items were donated and will be taken to the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. It was wonderful to see the support from the community.
Operation Bundle of Joy is a maternity support program by the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The program has been developed to assist in providing continuity of care for our maternity Veterans and to show women Veterans our commitment to their health care needs throughout their lifespan.
A special thanks goes to Krogers, Angies Hair Salon, Darke Co. Geneological Society, Second National Bank employees, Wayne Health Care, DAR members, VFW Ladies Aux members, VFW members, Crafty Granny's Unique Diaper Cakes, and the community.
