Greenville Mayor Bowers touched base with me on the current status of GPAT and I wanted to pass along the info as I know several DJ visitors have wondered about it.
The city's IT specialist, Jeff Francis, Mayor Bowers and a support rep from Telvue (the manufacturer of GPAT's hardware) worked to get the message board back up and running for about 3 hours on Tuesday. The Telvue rep determined that there is a glitch in their system and will be sending a new piece of hardware which should arrive in about a week.
In the meantime, Alex Warner's "Our Town" series is playing on a loop until the fix is in place.
