As the trees have lost their leaves and the winds turn cold, the familiar candlelight welcomes family, friends and strangers alike. You are warmly invited to join us for the return of “Organ by Candlelight”!
On Sunday December 2, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Trinity of Versailles will welcome the Advent Season with the return of “Organ by Candlelight”. After a two year absences for organ restoration, we invite the community to join us as we enjoy this magnificent instrument.
Terry Cassel, an accomplished master of the Pipe Organ will serve as guest organist and Darke County native, Mary Kathryn Brewer, instructor of vocal music at both Taylor and Anderson Universities of Indiana will lend her vocal talents for this extraordinary evening of music for the season.
Trinity will be decorated for the season with its beautiful trees and Nativity awaiting the birth of the Christ Child. To further enhance the evening, soft candlelight will abound in the sanctuary.
Following the recital, refreshments will be served in the rear sanctuary to allow time for fellowship and celebration of the season.
Trinity is located at the corner of Steffin and Wood Streets in Versailles. This free concert event is an outreach project of Trinity’s Worship & Music Committee.
