Sam Prakel has been announced as the national boys winner for the Wendy's High School Heisman for 2012.Sam was announced as a finalist during an assembly at Versailles Schools last month and was announced as the winner on Friday at a national broadcast ceremony in New York City.
Sam is an accomplished scholar and athlete, including 2 state titles in boys cross country as well as numerous other awards, records, and honors.
For being the national winner, Sam will receive a $10,000 donation to his and her high school and a $500 Wendy’s gift card.
