The Supply Chain Management Program at the Greenville Career Tech Center recently completed their second job shadowing experience of the year. Supply Chain Management is a Junior/Senior Program offered at Greenville Career Tech Center. The emerging workforce students in the Supply Chain Management Program were able to gain valuable career exploration experience by visiting local business and industry.

Senior Zach Bailey was able to job shadow the Safety Service Director, Curt Garrison at the Municipal Building. Zach reflected on the experience, "I learned that there is a lot more than you might think from first glance that goes into the various aspects of the city." Senior Diana Carubba completed a job shadowing experience at Woodland Elementary and commented, "I thought it was both fun and educational. I was able to observe the learning experience children go through at an early age." Senior Stetson Zumbrun completed a job shadowing experience with Todd Hickerson at Prairie Star Farms. Stetson stated, "I learned about packaging, technical aspects, and how it connects to the world of supply chain management. I also learned that a four year degree was needed to become a director of marketing and supply chain. It was a valuable learning experience."
