GGSA Holds Food Drive In Support Of FISH

The Greenville Girls Softball Association would like to thank everyone who participated in the Fish Food Drive held over the holiday season. GGSA players, parents, officers, and trustees participated in the first time event with hopes of making it an even bigger drive in the future. GGSA decided to help the Fish Choice Pantry with the hopes of making an immediate positive impact in our community and at the same time bringing to light that the need exists in our very own community. Not unlike GGSA, FISH is made up completely of volunteers.

Fish is an ecumenical organization that has been in existence in Darke County since December of 1961. The organization is made up completely of volunteers who strive to better our community by providing a healthy selection of foods through their Choice Pantry and home delivery. The Fish Choice Pantry is located at 400 Markwith Ave in Greenville. The pantry is open to the public three times a week, Monday 1-2 PM, Wednesday 10-11 AM, and Friday 4-5 PM. They also deliver food to shut-ins Monday through Saturday. Clients must provide proof of residence for household members. For more information you may reach Fish by calling 548-2000.
