Whooo’s There?!

Join the Darke County Park District on Thursday, January 24th at 6:30 pm for an evening learning about the newest addition to our Animal Ambassadors, the Great Horned Owl! The largest of all our owls, the Great Horned Owl truly deserves its nickname, Tiger of the Sky. We’ll learn what makes owls such fascinating creatures of the night and then we’ll head outside to see if we can encounter any of the five species of owls that call Shawnee Prairie Preserve home.

Please dress for the weather and be prepared for a short hike outside after the presentation. This program is completely FREE. All you need to do is call the Nature Center at 937.548.0165 to pre-register.
