Darke County Animal Shelter's Pets of the week


We have Shella at the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is a 2-year-old Lab/Border collie mix. She is black and white with short hair. She is a friendly girl and loves attention. She will make a wonderful companion and lifelong friend. She is looking for a new home and is ready for adoption.

We have Midnight at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is an 8-month-old black Lab mix puppy. He is all black with short hair. He is a little sweet little guy who loves to play. He was found in the Versailles area. He is looking for a new home and is ready for adoption.

We also have a Jack Russell mix, a shepherd mix, a lab mix puppy and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens for adoption.

The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.

On March 9th 2013 Easter Bunny will be at the Wal-Mart store in Greenville. You, your family and your beloved companion animal can come to Wal-Mart to get you "Pets picture taken with Easter Bunny".

The "Darke County Friends of the Shelter" sponsor this event. They are a 501C3 organization dedicated to helping the companion animals at the Shelter.
