The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) Food Committee for Greenville will be holding a meeting for non-profit organizations interested in setting up a booth to offer food to GOBA riders on June 18 and prior to riders leaving on June 19. The meeting will be held Feb. 20, 7 p.m., at the Children’s Theatre location, 638 Wagner Ave., Greenville (between Big Lots and Goodwill).
Information will be given to help groups decide if they want to be a part of an event that will bring approximately 2,500 riders to Greenville. This is GOBA’s 25th Reunion Tour and the organization has consistently kept notes through the years for what works and what doesn’t. Organizations signing up to participate will be able to take advantage of those notes to determine the foods and quantities that work best.
Organizations that attended the first informational meeting are not required to attend this meeting. The deadline to reserve a food booth is Feb. 27. For more information, contact Michael Bitner, bitner_m@yahoo.com.
