Author's Night at Montage

The Friends of the Greenville Public Library will present the last Author's Night of the 2013 series on Friday March 22 with storyteller, poet, and author Ed Davis. Ed is a native West Virginian and taught writing, literature, and humanities at Sinclair Community College from 1978 to 2011. He founded Sinclair’s literary magazine Flights as well as acted as the assistant director of the Antioch’s Writers’ Workshop.

Ed has both participated in and conducted many poetry and fiction workshops all over the country. His publishing includes four poetry chapbooks (Appalachian Day, Haskell, Whispering Leaves, and Healing Arts), two novels (I Was So Much Older Then and The Measure of Everything), and many short stories in literary magazines and anthologies.

Ed also won the 2008 Dayton Daily News Short Story Contest with “Two Kings” and the Ohio Writer’s Annual “Best of 2005” Contest with “The Boys of Bradleytown.” More info on www.davised.com.

So come and hear Ed’s charming storytelling for yourself! Doors open at 6:00 and the program starts at 7:00. Author's Night is held at Montage on Broadway and is free and open to the public.
